About the Fraternal Order of Tigers
Fraternal Order of Tigers is a private, member-based social and fraternal organization. Membership is by application and approval through the Grand Lodge. Affiliate Lodges are approved local locations operating under Grand Lodge standards.

Membership, fellowship and shared experiences.
The Fraternal Order of Tigers exists to foster membership, fellowship, recreation, shared experiences and local community through a private, member-based organization. Members join for the company of other members and for the activities their local Affiliate Lodge provides.
The order is organized so that participation is local while administration is central. Members gather at approved Affiliate Lodges; the Grand Lodge maintains the standards, records and oversight that keep every location consistent.

An Affiliate Lodge is an approved local location operating under Grand Lodge standards, where members meet, socialize and take part in approved activities. The Affiliate Lodge designation does not create a separate Tigers organization or confer separate nonprofit or tax-exempt status. Its rights and responsibilities are established by its written agreement with the Grand Lodge.
- Every Affiliate Lodge must be approved by the Grand Lodge before it opens.
- All membership applications and records route through the Grand Lodge.
- Events, updates and local information are submitted to the Grand Lodge for approval before publication.
- The Tigers name, emblem and public messaging may not be modified without written Grand Lodge approval.
