Affiliate Lodge program
Qualification criteria
The Grand Lodge reviews each proposed location on its own facts. Meeting these criteria does not entitle any applicant to approval.
Applicant
- An applicant in good standing who can stand behind the location
- Clear disclosure of everyone holding 10% or more of any entity involved
- Verifiable registration and tax identification for any entity named
Premises
- Lawful authority to use the premises as owner or tenant
- Zoning and property use consistent with the proposed activity
- Suitable member space and controlled access
Licensing & insurance
- All licenses and permissions required for the location's operations
- Insurance appropriate to the premises and operations
- No unresolved licensing action affecting the location
Suitability
- Disclosure of criminal, tax, litigation or enforcement matters involving the applicant, any entity involved or the location
- Cooperation with Grand Lodge verification of public records
- Willingness to operate under Grand Lodge standards and reporting
Reviewed case by case
Premises standards, insurance and financial requirements, proximity between locations, and the term and renewal of an affiliation are set by the Grand Lodge for each approved location and are confirmed in writing during due diligence. Nothing on this page is an offer, and no criterion here creates any right to approval.
Where a criterion is close but not yet met, the Grand Lodge may work with the applicant on what is needed. Guidance of that kind is organizational support, not legal, tax or licensing advice, and it is never a promise of approval.
